Powderham Food Festival

Located in the beautiful deer park, on the edge of the River Exe, Powderham Castle offers a stunning setting for their food festival.
Widely known for their venison and game, Powderham Castle estate also produces beef, pork and lamb as well as owning rights to River Exe shellfish. The woodland is a foragers playground where mushrooms and other wild delicacies can be found.
The food festival is now in its 6th year and presents over 130 stalls selling artisan food and drink, among offering delicious hot food to go! There will also be a number of cooking demonstrations from top chefs around the South West and the fascinating Victorian kitchen offers historical talks and demonstrations.
Dartmouth Food Festival
Set just a few miles away in the pretty harbour town of Dartmouth, the renowned Dartmouth Food Festival offers a tempting selection of delicious regional food and drink, chef demonstrations, workshops, lively food debates and fun for all the family.
The festival sees around 20,000 people flock to the town and is paradise for food fans with more than 100 South West producers showcasing their top notch produce, a packed programme of events and a schedule of celebrated chefs demonstrating their talented skills.
Park and ride is available for the weekend and the festival is free of charge.
